Focus and Dedication

Wanted to see if I can tackle a simple concept. It was also the first time I drew these two, wanted something simple to draw before I complicate myself with their full bodies if I were to draw them again. I also didn't focus too much on detail, this was more to get concept down more then anything else.

Meh, I got lazy with the Background, now I see how much simpler it is to draw the background before the characters.

I drew them like this because I just got my Mienfoo evolved into a Mienshao by training her in a cave. On the left is the Mienfoo just concentrating on the cliff I found her on. The right is the evolved Mienshao using aura sphere (though I don't have Aura sphere nor do I intend to due to how it's sp. atk is hindered through it's nature) I thought it would be kind of cool to draw her like this. c:

This has to be my favorite fighting type in gen 5. I really like weasels (buizel was also one of my favorite water types in gen 4) and it's quite deadly with it's drain punch, especially if I place up a reflect/light screen before hand. I have to say, leveling up one of these to lvl 50 was definitely worth it.
